1. Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using StudyArc AI, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. The app is owned and operated by Udgam Tech in Nepal. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

StudyArc AI is an AI-powered educational tool that provides lesson prep, homework help, smart notes, AI Tutor chat, and Study Together collaborative sessions.

All content is generated by artificial intelligence and should be used as a study aid, not as a definitive academic source.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyArc AI
• If you are between 13 and 18, a parent or guardian should be aware of your use of the app
• You must provide a valid email address to create an account

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account
• You must not share your account or create multiple accounts
• You must notify us immediately of unauthorized use

5. Free and Premium Plans

Free plan: limited usage with access to core lesson, homework, notes, and AI Tutor features.

Premium plan: full feature access, AI voice summaries, no sponsored content, and priority AI generation speed.

Pricing is as displayed in the app or on the website at the time of purchase.

Payment & Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed through supported payment methods. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. Refund policies are shown at purchase time, and pricing may change with prior notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use StudyArc AI responsibly and ethically. You must not:

• Use the app in a way that violates your institution's policies
• Upload illegal, harmful, offensive, or rights-violating content
• Reverse-engineer, hack, exploit, scrape, or automate access to the app
• Resell or commercially exploit content from the app
• Use the AI Tutor for non-educational misuse
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through any feature

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All summaries, answers, notes, and chat responses are produced by artificial intelligence. While we aim for accuracy, AI can make mistakes. Important academic information should always be cross-checked with textbooks, teachers, and official curriculum materials.

Udgam Tech is not liable for academic consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property

• The app, design, code, brand, and features are the intellectual property of Udgam Tech
• AI-generated content from your uploads is yours to use for personal educational purposes
• You retain ownership of your original uploaded photos and materials
• You may not reproduce or create derivative works from the app itself

9. Limitation of Liability

StudyArc AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free, complete, or suitable for examination purposes.

We are not responsible for loss of data, academic performance issues, or damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months before a claim.

10. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through Settings or by emailing us
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the app ends immediately
• Data deletion follows the Privacy Policy retention schedule

11. Sponsored Content

Free plan users may see clearly marked sponsored content from education-related partners. We are committed to showing only content appropriate for students.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Nepal, and disputes arising from them are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Nepal.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted in the app or on the website. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes may also be communicated through the app.
